1. Elderly Rights Proposal by Karlitza Lebron The elderly deserve the same rights as anyone else. They are older and thus should be more respected in society. I strongly believe for the respect of the elderly because i've seen the mistreatment of them personally and before hand. Even if they don't have much to offer, they are stil living beings.

2. Disability Rights Proposal by Nestor Flores As mentioned before, natural disasters and catastrophical events have been happening recently and it is no surprise that more people are becoming injured and disabled. Society itself has brought down the rights and equality of these unlucky people. The taunting and unequality should stop because just because their minds or body cannot function like ours doesn't mean that they should be treated differently.

Veteran's Rights Proposal by Randy War is a harsh thing that risks your innocent life for the sake of the government and country.Although many come out fine, others suffer the consequences of battle and war. Veterans do deserve to have special benefits because they already served our country and have suffered for it.

Immigrants' Rights Proposal by Tiffany Zayas As an immigrant myself I strongly believe that these people who flee their homeland should be accepted in the United States or any other country they go to. As she said, these people do not go to the United States to steal jobs or increase crime, these people run away in hopes of a better life. No one has the right to stop these people to do so.

5. Gay Rights Proposal by Shae-Lynn I'm a strong believer in equality concerning sexuality and sexual preferences. The LGBT community deserved the same respect as any other community in the U.S and in the world. Enough is enough and these people have struggled throughout history and it is their time to shine and finally be treated the same.

6. Criminal Rights Proposal by Carol I do agree with her in one part, criminals sometimes behave well to be free and go back into their criminal lives, but this is not the story for many. Crimes like murder or rape should be terribly punished and yes, they should do their whole jail sentence, but some people are innocent. The justice system is corrupted already and a few changes will do us no harm.

7. Women's Rights Proposal by Paola Women throughout centuries have been discriminated in the United States and even today things like the Glass Ceiling and other sexist problems still exist. It is about time that women are not seen as inferior but equal to men in so many ways. Being a female myself know how differently we are treated either for good or bad purposes. It is about time we are seen for our potential and not our sex.

8. Puerto Rican's Rights Proposal by Roxanne Being latin overall can cause people to act racist against us but even in Puerto Rico we are discriminated by color and our way of living. Any kind of racism is unacceptable in my book and it should just cease to exist. Puerto Ricans as well as other latins should be accepted in society and treated equally. Just because our dialect and our skin colors are different doesn't mean we are a different specias and are out of this world.

African American's Rights Proposal by Fransisco/Willie As I mentioned before I cannot tolerate racism and even though there is an Amendment concerning this people still highly discriminate these people by their race and skin color. African Americans have suffered for thousands of years and even though people claim to act equal towards them this is still not e seen. Take for example the election of President Obama, many people were against this just because he was black.

10. Muslim Americans' Rights Proposal by Armando Another topic concerning racism and judgement. Muslims, ever since 9/11, have been discriminated. Thanks to this many Muslims have been taunted and mistreated and are sometimes arrested to be interrogated even though they did nothing wrong. I see this as completely uncalled for and quite ridiculous on the part of the government and police. These people should only be searched if they qualify as a criminal or terrorist not just because of their race and such.
